We attended the soft opening of Sapporo Sushi and met Sang, the owner. We were honored to share a sake toast with him and the chefs on a subsequent visit. The sushi is fresh and sake delicious. We will return. It's so nice to have a good sushi restaurant in the heart of San Elijo Hills.

Our favorite ice cream place is Wynston's in North City for many reasons. 1) Their award-winning ice cream is delicious and they have non-dairy options; 2) They have creative names and colors like this one based on the Metallic song, Fade to Black and the actual ice cream was black so, of course I had to try it; and 3) They celebrate May the 4th. Chris and Sarah are great people and our community is lucky to have them and their business.
